Junior High Teacher

Duties: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the language arts curriculum - Provide instruction in reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary - Assess student progress and provide feedback on assignments and assessments - Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices - Utilize technology to enhance instruction and engage students in the learning process - Provide academic advising and support to students as needed - Assist with education administration tasks such as maintaining student records and attending meetings Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Valid Iowa teaching certification in English/Language Arts.
*Preferred candidates would have certification in multiple subjects or a middle school endorsement.
