POSITION SUMMARY
Performs assistant soccer coaching duties in a National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III intercollegiate soccer program.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Assists in planning, organizing, and conduct of practice sessions.
Provides training direction, encouragement, and motivation in order to prepare athletes for games.
Adjusts coaching techniques based on the strengths and weaknesses of athletes.
Keeps records of athlete, team, and opposing team performance.
Analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of opposing teams in order to develop game strategies.
Keeps abreast of changing rules, techniques, technologies, and philosophies relevant to soccer.
Performs activities that support the soccer program, such as meeting with media representatives, alumni, boosters and the general public to publicize and promote the soccer program.
Supports the mission and vision of the College and respects the College's Catholic tradition.
Performs related duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field.
Experience: Two to four years related experience.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Other Requirements: Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of collegiate soccer.
Knowledge of rules and regulations of NCAA Division III and the American Rivers Conference as they pertain to collegiate soccer.
