Position Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY: Instruct or coach groups or individuals in tennis activities; demonstrate techniques and form, observe participants, and explain to them corrective measures necessary to improve their skills; develop and implement individualized approaches to learning; and direct and lead children and adults of various ages teaching Tennis skills, rules, etiquette and sportsmanship in a fun environment.

Job Duties
Teach age-appropriate tennis rules, skills and techniques.
Develop educational and training programs.
Evaluate capabilities and training needs; and skills of athletes.
Demonstrate activity techniques and equipment use.
Enforce rules and regulations.
Explain regulations, policies, and procedures.
Administer First Aid or call for assistance as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services which includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Education and Training - Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
Service Orientation - Looking for ways to help people.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
More than 1 year working with children and/or adults.
Knowledge of tennis rules, techniques and philosophies.
At least 16 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Leadership experience.
Tennis knowledge and background including instruction preferred.
Experience working with a diverse workforce and population
